Axis 450 VS 460 Rear Wing for Foot Pump Dock Start Foiling

Описание к видео Axis 450 VS 460 Rear Wing for Foot Pump Dock Start Foiling

Hey All,

I just tryed for the first time the Axis Flat 460 rear wing for foot pump dock start foiling. I have been learning with my 450 Progressive rear wing I have not had a fast learning curve. I am currently using the Axis PNG 1150 front wing, Short Red Fuselage, 82cm 19mm aluminum mast and Slingshot Dwarfcraft 100cm, 11L.

I purchased the rear wing from Pacific North Sports.

The 460 is easier for me to lauch off the dock, more slippery, flys straight easier, has less power and overall an improvement over the 450 for flat water dock start foiling. I am super glad I purchased it!!!

Some things I forgot to mention in the video ...
I fell a few times when pumping going at a good speed with the 460. When I fall with the 450 I was usually going slow. So I still need practice with the 460. It is possible I fell because of slight fatigue in my legs could have reduced my dexterity a little. My legs were not tired and as I write this a few hours later my legs are not sore but I think at my current skill level being fresher or in better shape will help me to go longer without random falls.

Eric has been recording sessions at Lake Ballinger. Here is his channel.
