Let me introduce you to Ram Laddoo. Ram Laddoo is a street food from Delhi.
Ram Laddoo is made of a combination of 3 dals- moong dal, urad dal & chana dal.
The 3 dals are soaked, grinded and then small balls of the batter are deep fried to make the Ram Laddoo. A batter fried Green chili is also served along with the Ram Laddoo. The Ram Laddoo is accompanied by grated radish and a special chutney that has radish leaves in it.

Recipe :

Delhi wale Ram Laddoo

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
Serves: 5-6

Ingredients:
1 cup soaked Yellow Moong Dal
1/2 cup Soaked Urad Dal
1/2 cup Chana Dal
Salt to taste
10-12 green chilies
For Mooli Laccha:
2 Radish
Lemon Juice
For the Chutney:
1 bunch Coriander
1/2 bunch Mint
3 -4 Green chilies
3 tbsp Chopped Radish Leaves
2” ginger
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Oil to fry

Method:
Soak the Dals for at least 4 hours.
Drain the dals.
Grind the dals with, salt and without adding any or very little water.
Beat the dal till light and fluffy.
Drop a bit of dal in a bowl full of water. If it floats on top, the batter is ready.
Heat 2” oil in a pan.
Add small walnut sized balls of batter to medium hot oil and fry till golden. Remove on a tissue paper. Dip some Green Chilies in the batter and fry as well.
Grate the Radish. Add lemon juice and chopped Radish leaves.
To make the chutney, grind together the mint leaves, coriander leaves, radish leaves, green chilies, lemon juice and salt to taste.
To serve, place the grated mooli in a bowl, keep the fried balls on top, top with green chutney and a fried green chili and serve.
