Hello everybody, this is Jeff for etrailer.com. Today we take a look at this 12 inch diameter, pre-greased trailer hub and drum assembly with hardware for 7,000 pounds axles and has the 8x6.5 inch bolt pattern. Now this trailer hub and drum assembly will provide the surface area for your brake shoes or your magnet to grip when your electric or hydraulic brakes are activated. This is compatible with electric and hydraulic drum brakes. Now this is a pre-greased hub and drum assembly, it's very easy to install, there's no need to pack the bearings. As you can see it already has the grease seal installed with the bearing and greased and the front or the outer bearing greased also.

They do use a lithium complex multipurpose grease to keep the bearings lubricated. Now this is a sturdy iron construction, it will include the bearing races which are already pre-installed in the hub. It includes the bearings, both inner and outer bearings which are pre-greased and installed. The inner bearing number is part number 25580. And the outer bearing number is 141258.

On the very back here, it does the grease seal already pre-installed, it uses a grease seal of GS-2250D. Now this does not include the grease cap. On the front are the lug nuts to hold your wheel on. It will require the standard grease cap of part number 38605 or if you're using it on an E-Z Lube axle, the E-Z Lube grease cap part number of 21-43-1. The lug nuts that's used on this are 0.5x20 size lug nuts.

Part number is CE11051 and all those parts we do sell separately on our website. Usually they are listed on this product page as a related product. Specs again, this is to fit a 7,000 pound trailer axle with number 42 spindles. Now the drum diameter, if we measure this, the internal diameter is gonna be 12 inches. The width, in other words, this width right here or depth of it is gonna be two and three eighths inches.

This is designed to work with 12 inch by two inch size brake assemblies. The wheel size that'll fit on this is 16 inch up to 17.5 inch diameter and the bolt pattern we mentioned is an 8x6.5 inch bolt pattern.
