For the past couple years I have built a collection of space heaters and this year I finally decided to test them out to see which one is the best. The other two space heaters I experimented with are an oil filled radiator and an infrared heater with fan. Here are some of my thoughts:

Of all the heaters I tested, this one heats the room up the fastest. It does a great job getting hot really fast. Also, this heater is by far the most portable. Not only does it have casters to move around but this thing is seriously light weight. For this reason my pregnant wife also really loves this heater.

In the experiments I did, I would run the heater for an hour to see how much this would raise the temperature. For this heater in an enclosed room, I would get the room temperature to go up about 10-15 degrees when it was on full power. I also had this hooked up to a wattage meter and determined that this cost me about 10 cents (1.1 KWH) to run this for an hour at full heat.

My wife and I like using this when we watch TV, we can move it right to where we are and we can feel the heat coming from it.

Here are a few things of note with this heater:
- Overall this is very fast and gets very hot.
- This is really lightweight which makes it portable.
- The side metal does not get dangerously hot but the top does. Be mindful of this if you have toddlers in the home.
- The first couple times we used this, it had a weird smell. This is my experience with all heaters. The smell no longer is there when we turn this on.
- Because this has analog dials, you can use this with a smart socket. Make sure your Smart socket is rated for 1500w or higher. I like using a smart socket because I can turn this on or off with Amazon Alexa and I can also see how much money it is costing me to run.

Overall, this has become my favorite heater. It is the easiest to use and is the fastest to heat up a room.
