If you are wondering how this works, a return water line is installed near the faucet farthest from the water heater. The return line is connected to the pump and flows the water back into the water heater. It creates a continuous loop of slow-moving hot water. Then when you turn on your faucet or shower, you have ready hot water. If you have a new pump just installed make sure there is water in the line before you turn on the pump.
