How To: Activate Audi Drive Select On MMI 3G - A4, A5 & Q5

How To Activate / Retrofit Audi Drive Select On Audi A4 (8K), A5 (8T) & Q5 (8R) With MMI 3G & 3G+ Using VCDS!

We firstly guide you through the process of how to activate the drive select using VCDS, activating the MMI 3G Screen and then the options that need to be coded in the Green Screen. Once completed please make sure to reset your MMI and shutdown / lock your car for at least 5 minutes.

We tested this on the Audi Q5 and it worked a dream but will work with other models such as the A4 and A5.

Please note that you do everything at your own risk. This particular video worked on this Q5 but your vehicle may not be compatible for one reason or another.

If you have a slightly older 3G system and don't have a "MENU" Button then press "CAR" & "SETUP" together and will do the same!

If you don’t have MMI Navigation but a Concert or Symphony Radio installed instead then don’t panic, the below video will show how it works with your car.
