How to stop hiccups:

I always utilize this strategy whenever I have hiccups, and it always works for me.

1. First, right after you have a hiccup, take as deep a breath you can.
2. Hold that breath for 15-30 seconds.
3. Then slowly release your breath, trying to let out even more air than you took in.
4. When you've let out all the air, take a long, slow deep breath, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Keep taking long slow deep breaths like this (as slow and as deep as possible), until you feel like your stomach has calmed down and the hiccups have passed.

Hope that helps you stop your hiccups! It always does the trick for me.
