How I make a Living as a Udemy Instructor

I have been teaching health and fitness courses on Udemy Since 2013, but didn't start taking the platform seriously until the beginning of 2015. I published a free weight loss course to Udemy in 2013, but did virtually nothing with it until the end of 2014.

Before that, I was working myself into the ground. I was training personal clients and group fitness classes 6 days per week, was averaging 5 hours of sleep per night, and I was constantly exhausted, feeling like I could never catch up.

Luckily, by the end of 2014 my weight loss course had accumulated over 10,000 students. From then I decided to start taking the platform seriously, so that I could make my passion, my own business.

I started creating and selling more more courses in April of 2015, and since then I have completely replaced and surpassed my income as a full-time personal trainer/group fitness trainer, and a part time online marketing and branding consultant.

Now I have 16 courses on Udemy, with over 35,000 students in 175 countries around the globe.
