Worst ever train accident in Spain History.
A high-speed train has derailed outside Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain.
At least 78 people dead and 178 injured. The rail disaster was one of the worst in Spanish history and authorities have warned the death toll may rise.
It is because the driver of the train was running the train in excessive speed, double the speed recommended on that track.the train derailed as lost balance at a sharp bend at speed,derailed and caught fire.This is one of Europe's worst rail disasters.
The train was with onboard 247 people,In the accident the train was hurtling into a concrete wall at the side of the track as carriages jack-knifed and the engine overturned.
The impact was so huge one carriage flew several metres into the air and landed on the other side of the high concrete barrier.
