This project focuses on the complete evaluation, design, and development of a .NET Web API, a powerful framework for building HTTP-based RESTful services. The Web API enables seamless communication between client applications and servers using standard HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE.

The evaluation begins with an understanding of the fundamentals of Web APIs, their purpose, and the need for modern RESTful services in real-world applications. It then explores the lifecycle of a Web API request and response, along with essential HTTP verbs and their practical usage.

The implementation covers creating API endpoints, handling data transfer objects (DTOs), status codes, and response types, ensuring robust communication. Advanced concepts such as model validation, content negotiation, routing, and dependency injection are also explored for scalable design.

Further, the project integrates Entity Framework Core (Code First & Database First approaches) for database operations, along with the Repository Pattern for clean architecture and maintainability.

Security and version control aspects are addressed through Authentication & Authorization, CORS, and API Versioning. Additionally, Swagger integration is implemented for API documentation and testing, while Postman is used for verifying API functionality.

Finally, the API is deployed and consumed by client applications, completing the full development and deployment cycle of a modern .NET Web API.
