'I go chop your dollar" -The Stanley Okorie interview

Описание к видео 'I go chop your dollar" -The Stanley Okorie interview

In what perhaps is Stanley's most popular (or notorious) work, 'I go chop your dollar' is still considered by many to be the #1 soundtrack of the classic movies from Nollywood (Nigerian movie industry). This song was featured in the movie 'The Master' in which Nkem Owoh (Osuoffia) plays a scammer.

The video offers a glimpse into the making of the song. Stanley also explains that the song is simply a caricature of the '419' business and not a song in support of advance fee fraud.

'I go chop your dollar' was written, sung and produced by Stanley Okorie, (co-produced by Murphy Anawana) but visually performed by Nkem Owoh.

The music video was originally published and distributed by KAS-VID Music international who also published other songs visually performed by Nkem Owoh such as 'Agreement', 'Susana' and 'Know me when am poor' all written and produced by Stanley Okorie.

Video re-edited for YouTube viewing by Jon Willes.
