New Sampling Facility – Heraeus Precious Metals - Recycling

In the precious metal (PM) recycling business at Heraeus, representative sampling is performed as a first step for every individual customer batch to assess the PM content. Precision and accuracy of this process step are vital to ensure the customers receive their fair value returned.

To reach excellence in the sampling process, HPM has invested more than eight million Euros into a new sampling facility in Hanau. At the heart of the facility are three new mills and three new blenders. The innovative design of this core equipment ensures excellent batch separation and reduces the processing time. By employing state-of-the-art technologies and automation, Heraeus is setting new standards in the precious metal industry.
