Even though my 2017 RAM came with the factory Alpine stereo system, I always thought it fell a little short. I had already swapped out all three dash speakers with Infinity Reference 3.5" 2 way speakers and that made a large difference. Then I changed out the rear door speakers with matching Infinity Reference 6x9" 3 way speakers and that really made a large improvement. But I was still feeling like it was missing something.
I bought the JL Audio Evolution C2-600 component set because I was going to upgrade the front door speakers with the 6" woofer and then custom install the tweeter. I disliked the sound of the 6" so I put the factory back in. I then custom mounted and wired up the 3/4" tweeters in the component set and WOW what a difference. Now you can hear the highs crisp and clear and it really woke it up. Last thing on the list is probably the JL Audio stealthbox 10" subwoofer.
