WW2 Motorcycle Restoration saving my RAF Norton WD 16H

hello everyone welcome to my new channel saving Classic Motorcycles in todays video the first on the Channel I shall be sharing with you the humbling journey of restoring my RAF WW2 Norton Motorcycle these bikes were ridden by despatch riders in WW2.

the channel going forward will document how classic motorcycle restoration not only is me saving the motorcycles but the bikes saving me as well and my mental health journey via motorcycles.

I hope you all enjoy the video or me working on the WW2 Norton RAF 16H for those that are new to the page she's a 1944 Late Ordered Contract bike for sidecar combos for the RAF.

I got super lucky finding the original unique war time number for her via an RAF researcher still pinching myself over that. Was also able to pass his details onto someone who had been giving me advice and they managed to get there Enfield one exciting stuff! a very emotional moment painting it onto the tank after so many years of it being unknown.

The layout on the tank was based on painstaking research on original photos supplied by friends an my own research to. Got so many people to thank on her I'd be here all night listing them so thanks everyone it's all appreciated lest we forget.

very soon more videos will be coming both on my 1927 Norton 16H flat tanker and on finishing the restoration seen in this video as she becomes my daily rider.
