There are tons of articles on how to use child themes... even the WordPress codex states "child themes are the recommended way of making modifications to a theme". At this very meetup, we've had Daisy Olsen explain Parent/Child (and why you should use them)... now it's time to hear from the other side.

Allan Cole is a self-employed front-end web designer and developer based in Brooklyn, NY. He specializes in building custom WordPress solutions for a wide variety of clients in the entertainment, music and fashion industries. On top of that, he also designs, develops and distributes many popular themes for WordPress including AutoFocus and Basic Maths.
