E-Sewa portal provides more than 400 citizen services like Birth-Death Certificates, Caste Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Aadhaar Card etc. ▶️E-Seva, or "electronic seva," is a form of e-government that provides citizens with access to government services. These services include:
Certificates: Issuing citizen-related certificates
Utility bills: Receiving bills for electricity, water, sewerage, telephone, property tax, and sales tax
Grievances: Redressing grievances
Online applications: Facilitating online applications for certified copies and e-filing of petitions
Aadhaar digital signatures: Helping citizens apply for and obtain Aadhaar-based digital signatures
E-Seva Kendras are pilot centers that have been established in High Courts and one District Court in each state to provide these services. They also offer services to lawyers and litigants, such as:
Assisting with online purchases of e-Stamp papers and ePayments
Booking eMulakat appointments for meeting relatives in jail
Handling queries about judges on leave
