We had never heard of the village Unakuruwa before we went there, we went there because we desperately wanted to leave our working conditions in Kataragama,

So it was completely random that we would end up in this small village with so many beautiful people. We found our Sri Lanka Home.

This is the village.
The village in Sri Lanka we spent 5 months in.
We got to grow, to become a part of this village, see its beauty and its cracks and darkness. Because everywhere in the world, villages shine with beauty and then cracks appear. So we wanted to make an epic cinematic film about the village, a salute.

Unakuruwa, a 15 min TukTuk ride from more famous Tangalle in the southern province.
Some people visit Unakuruwa just for its beautiful Silent Beach and luxury resort Amanwella Hotel which is nearby.
