Jackie & Shadow were not seen around Big Bear approx two days after the Line Fire started in Highland. Everyone's guess is they have sought shelter somewhere outside the area because of the smoke engulfing the Valley.
Several creatures visited Jackie & Shadow's nest. One of them is this beautiful hawk who stayed for a bit. Thank you, FOBBV LiveCam operator(s) for giving us a closer look at this curious little raptor.
As of today, Sept. 12th 2024 - either Jackie or Shadow showed up at the snag tree. Can you identify who it is? On Sept. 15th, Shadow's distinct chortle was heard around 6:08AM in the (nest) LiveCam-1. No chortle was heard from Jackie.
