*Abstract*

The {gtsummary} package provides an elegant and flexible way to create publication-ready analytical and summary tables using the R programming language. The {gtsummary} package summarizes data sets, regression models, and more, using sensible defaults with highly customizable capabilities. By leveraging {broom}, {gt}, and {labelled} packages, {gtsummary} creates beautifully formatted, ready-to-share summary and result tables in a single line of R code.

*Bio*

Daniel Sjoberg is a Senior Research Biostatistician at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and has collaborated on the planning, analysis, and publication of hundreds of research projects. He is also a doctoral candidate in Biostatistics at Columbia University, where his research focuses on adaptive Bayesian designs in clinical trials. Daniel is the 2021 recipient of the Innovator in Programming and Analysis presented by the American Statistical Association.
