Know Where Aadhar Is Mandatory After Supreme Court's Verdict | ABP News

The Supreme Court has paved the way for quota in promotions in government jobs. A five-judge constitution bench on Wednesday said there is no need to review the 2006 Nagaraj verdict. The matter need not be referred to a seven-judge constitution bench, said the top court. The bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra said states need not collect quantifiable data on backwardness for giving quota in job promotion to SC/ST employees.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सरकारी नौकरियों में पदोन्नति में कोटा के लिए मार्ग प्रशस्त किया है। बुधवार को पांच न्यायाधीशीय संविधान खंडपीठ ने कहा कि 2006 के नागराज फैसले की समीक्षा करने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है। शीर्ष अदालत ने कहा कि मामले को सात न्यायाधीशीय संविधान खंडपीठ में संदर्भित करने की जरूरत नहीं है। मुख्य न्यायाधीश दीपक मिश्रा की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ ने कहा कि राज्यों को एससी / एसटी कर्मचारियों को नौकरी पदोन्नति में कोटा देने के लिए पिछड़ेपन पर मात्रात्मक डेटा एकत्र करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
