Both supercharged by ultra-clean Cloudlifter circuitry, the 44 series mics deliver gorgeous natural personality plus all the robustness and clarity required for recording and performing all genres of modern music.

The ribbon itself is handcrafted to the exact specifications originally prescribed by RCA; however, everything else has been upgraded using state-of-the-art materials, manufacturing processes and technology.

With its built-in Cloudlifter, the Cloud 44-A is the first active ribbonmicrophone to offer switchable Voice/Music response curves, allowing fine control over low frequencies.

Dubbed the “Midnight”, Cloud’s passive model 44 houses the same motor as the active version. Each 44 is bundled with a matching black Cloudlifter CL-1, instantly converting the 44 to an active ribbon on demand.
