Last week I had an instagram Q & A regarding our “chit- chat” topic. Most of the questions I got were regarding friendships, who my friends are, how I met them, friendship breakup advice & experiences, opinion in the term “ our growing” . THE RESPONSE GIVEN WAS GENERAL & BASED ON OPINIONS. The topic was abit weird to talk about, hence I hesitated posting this video & that’s just because of personal reasons which I choose not to disclosed on social media .

When rewatching the video I noticed how I couldn’t get my opinions across in an understandable way. I just struggled because as much as I tried by all means to make it general, I just thought about it in relation to my past experiences with losing friends . I think it’s evident that I wasn’t that helpful with advice and all that because y’all can see I’m struggling aswell… especially in the “let go” part .

Nonetheless, I want to explain what I meant in the video where I spoke out “outgrowing” .
I believe in outgrowing as a CONCEPT, BUTTT I feel like it is driven by a reason . I don’t believe that a friendship can just end because of just outgrowing . I just ask myself why ? Why have y’all outgrown each other ? What led to the conclusion of outgrowing? I don’t believe you can be too mature to be in a friendship and just “outgrow it “ njeee. I just feel like if you love & understand your friend & are willing to familiarise yourself with change and growth & difference in maturity, whatever it is that leads to “outgrowing” a friend shouldn’t even exist .
