FISHING MADNESS!!!! The best day ever on the reefs!!

Hi guys & gals. In this episode myself and Henri hit the jackpot. The kob/Mulloway were in full feeding frenzy mode, with every throw being a pull. It was absolutely insane! The amount of fish and how quick they were at getting to our baits. We only kept what we needed and released the rest.

What a pleasure it was to see so much life in the water, seals, bronze whaler sharks etc. It was a really awesome experience.

The ideal conditions for Kob or Mulloway, here by us, is at least 2 to 3 days of good South East. That will bring the ginger beer colour we look for when targeting Kob/Mulloway. The first day of South is still ok for the Kob or Mulloway, but after that it gets a bit slow.

Best bait for Kob or Mulloway, I have found chokka or squid to be the best, however fishy baits also work for Kob or Mulloway, like sardines, maasbanker, mackerel etc. Livebait would obviously be the best for Kob or Mulloway, but it is a mission to drag the closed bucket on the reefs.
