About GED® Exam
The General Educational Development (GED®) exam is a standardized test that measures high school–level knowledge and skills. It consists of four subject tests:
1️⃣ Mathematical Reasoning – Algebra, geometry, problem-solving, and data analysis.
2️⃣ Reasoning Through Language Arts – Reading comprehension, grammar, editing, and writing.
3️⃣ Science – Life, physical, earth & space sciences, with data analysis.
4️⃣ Social Studies – History, government, economics, and geography with critical thinking.
Passing all four sections earns you a GED® certificate or diploma, recognized by most employers, colleges, and universities as equivalent to a high school diploma. The test is available in English and Spanish, both in-person and online (if eligible).
