✨ Is the Lunar New Year over yet? Luckily, in the Chinese culture, we celebrate it for 15 days! I finished the qipao and wore it to a rehearsal dinner instead of a reunion dinner.

The silky smooth lining was comfortable against the skin and it was definitely a luxury. I'm glad I didn't use a bunch of frog buttons because it was a pain to do/undo. I made 5 sets and they took forever as the double bias tape weave was tight and I had to sew as I rolled them. Too much hassle if you'd asked me. Unless you use a different material that is easier to work with, I recommend just buying them on Etsy. I would like to try stretchable fabric for the qipao the next time I make one. I think it will be more form fitting and comfortable. Did I say comfortable? Who am I kidding? I'd still rather be in sweats. ^^
