WOTC Magazine New Faces Awards With Alexandra Shulman, Frances Card, Mary Alade And More.

It was an absolute pleasure to have with us British Vogue’s former editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman, alongside the newly appointed senior reporter for BBC Africa, Joice Etutu.

We also had Sue Douglas join us, who was the first-ever female editor of a newspaper, later launching Vogue.com and Glamour in the UK, who presented Trish Halpin, formerly of Marie Claire UK, and Lorraine Candy, formerly of Elle UK, with the Achievement Award on Wednesday night at the NFAs.

It was an insightful gathering of female media giants, who are all part of the critical conversation of sending the ladder down.

The ceremony was filled with friends and senior editors from BOF, Harper’s Baazar and several other publications because the conversation we are all engaged in is about community and change and less about competition.
