Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and technology, (RGMCET) Nandyal is located in a 50 acres site at Nerawada cross roads,10 Kms from Nandyal town on the way to kurnool on NH-18. The former Prime Minister Shri P.V.Narasimha Rao and the Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N.Chandra Babu Naidu have inaugurated RGMCET. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and permitted by state Govt of Andhra Pradesh. This is the first private Engineering college affiliated to JNT University, Ananthapur at both UG and PG levels.The college is accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi.
This technical institution was established in 1995 with a motto "Education For Peace" and with the mission to produce excellent Engineers with social awareness meeting the global standards. It also aims to achieve excellence in research and consultancy in the field of Science and Technology.
