Tetralogy of Fallot Repair: Tetralogy of Fallot is a congenital heart lesion that consists of blockage of blood flow from the right ventricle to the lungs because of narrowing below the pulmonary artery. In addition, there is also a hole in the bottom chambers (ventricular septal defect, or VSD) and the aorta overrides the VSD. To repair these defects, the VSD must be closed and the pulmonary outflow must be opened up to reduce the blockage.
