Tinplate is one of the leading recyclable materials. Therefore, it is one of the packaging materials with a top recycling rate! In Germany, there are currently two different recycling rates published by the Federal Environment Agency (UBA). The first is in accordance with the German Packaging Act and the second in accordance with EU Implementing Decision 2019/665. In order not to lose the overview here, the animation explains in a simple way how the calculation methods differ.
