Fix P0420 Code | How To Use O2 Sensor Spacers | Project M3 Episode 2

Do O2 Sensor Spacers/eliminators really work? There has been a mixed bag of yes they do and no they don't. I set to answer that question on the Project E46 BMW M3 that was having the dreaded P0420 CEL check engine light code as well as P0139.

In this episode we set out to fix these OBD2 catalytic converter emissions related issues once and for all. We try various styles and lengths and briefly go into the concept of how O2 sensor spacers work.

apparently eBay and Amazon have removed all O2 sensor spacers from their pages. You can still use the original spark plug non-fouler trick. Buy a pair as you may need to stack them to get the right length.
