Former Super Mayor Tiffany Henyard is BACK — and she has a lot to say. The disgraced former mayor of Dolton, Illinois jumped on Facebook Live claiming the Board of Trustees walked out of a meeting where they were supposed to settle a $33 million lawsuit — and that their walkout is why Dolton residents are now staring down a $40.6 MILLION judgment that could spike property taxes by $800 a year.
We break it all down with the receipts. Was she right? Partly. But here's what she didn't tell you — the officer at the center of that lawsuit was Sgt. Lewis Lacey, a man with SIX prior chases resulting in injuries. Henyard knew all of this and promoted him to police chief anyway. That same Lewis Lacey just pled guilty to federal bankruptcy fraud and is NOW cooperating with federal investigators.
