Hello there.
After about a month's work I present my newest model of the RMS Celtic, the inaugural ship in the Big Four class of ships operated by the White Star Line! Built in 1901 by Harland & Wolff shipyards, the Celtic was the largest ship built to that point, surpassing the Oceanic of 1899 in weight, altough not in length (being one meter shorter). Celtic put a great deal more focus on cargo carrying capacity and third class passenger space than Oceanic did, and sported a smaller first and second class. She was also decidely slower than Oceanic, but more economical.

Celtic was assigned to the Liverpool-New York route, and was joined on it later by her sisters the Cedric, Baltic, and Adriatic. When World War 1 broke out, Celtic was requisitioned by the British Admiralty and converted into an auxiliary cruiser, and later a troop transport ship. She survived the whole ordeal having struck one mine and gotten torpedoed two times, but was salvaged and returned to the WSL after war's end.

White Star opted to modernize and refurbish Celtic, improving the quality of the life on the ship, while heavily reducing her passenger capacity. In 1928, Celtic grounded off Roche's Point, after which she was deemed a total loss and scrapped on site until 1933.
