HOSPITAL ADMISSION PROCEDURE | PREPARING FOR MY UPCOMING ENDOMETRIOSIS SURGERY | ENDOEMMM

In this video, I share the contents of my hospital admission procedure + same day surgery package. I talk about the forms, booklets, and instructions that are included to prepare for my upcoming endometriosis laparoscopic excision surgery in the new year! It's a brief overview and specific to Ontario + Canadian surgical procedures - so this might look a little different from the surgery preparation package you receive in your country / region.

I run through:
1. The general payment fees that are not covered by Ontario Health Insurance Plan / potential out of pocket fees
2. Anesthetic forms
3. Bloodwork forms
4. Process that is in place 24 hours before surgery (like how much water I can have, if I'm allowed to take my medications leading up to the surgery, etc.).
5. A run through of the before, during, and after care found in the hospital admissions booklet!
