Spring Fishing on the Kharlovka and Eastern Litza

Every season is different. We start speculating already before the leaves fall off in the fall – how will next spring be? Early, late, cold or warm, high water or low. To me real spring fishing is in high and cold water with big flies and heavy lines. It’s the best of the best! The most beautiful brightest fattest fish that give you the hardest fights. For the last 20 years Kharlovka and Eastern Litza on the Kola peninsula has been my spring fishing heaven – I have struggled through snow and ice, or sweeting in a short sleeve shirt catching the best fish of my life!
