Raging Brachydios Solo in 6'47"73 (Sticky HBG) - Monster Hunter World

Still a few mistakes but I didn't even think sub 7 was possible with Sticky and Clusters. I had really good RNG with my Palico and True Spare Shot here.


My Wyvernsnipe aim was a little off, I accidentally had one Expert Jewel on, and had Trueshot jewels in my Temporal Mantle but forgot to put it on at the very start.. I also wasted a bit of time trying to wallslam him between areas and then grabbing more slinger ammo, but I was really smart with reloads this time. You can waste a lot of time with unnecessary reloads.

He has a ton of health so it's hard to do this without restocking. If you're unlucky you'll run out of ammo either way, if you're extremely lucky you can just spam Sticky and Clusters the whole time. I ended up having some extra ammo leftover at the end here so I might not have needed to use Wyvern or Wyvernsnipe as much.

Most of your damage still comes from Sticky and Cluster, Wyvernsnipe and Wyvern ammo were just to make my ammo last the whole fight. I tried this one so many times with different setups but couldn't get any other runs below 7 minutes.

He curls in an awkward position when he falls down and Wyvernsnipe tends to just whiff for no reason if he's standing up.. It's actually hard to line up a really good shot against him. You might be better off just using more Wyvern Ammo and a Close Range mod if you can get by without shield, or maybe you just need better aim than me.

.. I suspect a sub 6 minute run with good Evasion Mantle use and Cluster RNG would be possible. But I'm happy with this run for now. Maybe I'll come back some of these later.




Pro Tip: Give your Palico and elemental weapon and use Tailraider Signal. They actually deal pretty good damage when your constantly KOing the monster, and you need every bit of damage you can get. Palico Coralhorn attack buff gives +15% raw for 90 seconds which is huge but sometimes they just won't use it. Unless you have a Trouper with you, then you get all the buffs for most of the fight.
