Hi fellow Vocaloid fans,

I live in a cold, snowy Northern State in the United States. Each year, our State Capital city turns into a winter wonderland during as it holds the annual "St. Paul Winter Carnival" featuring parades, ice sculptures, ice castles, ice slides and much outdoor festivities to celebrate winter.

In Sapporo, Japan, each year around this time they also celebrate winter with their own Winter Festival called the Sapporo Snow Festival. Since Crypton Future Media is located in Sapporo, the company joined into the city festival by introducing Snow Miku concerts for the past 7 years.

I remember fondly when, as a young man, I attended our St. Paul Winter Carnival to stare in dis-belief at the enormous snow sculptures constructed by invited worldwide guests from... Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan!

The Vocaloid events in Sapporo continues to grow each year, with trains decked out with Vocaloid wraps, Vocaloid art expos, and of course, the annual Snow Miku Live! concert. Each year, Hatsune Miku-chan performs a special "Snow Miku" song at the concert.

I particularly enjoy the words to the 2015 Snow Fairy Story Snow Miku performance. As usual, this song contains far deeper thoughts and meanings than the mere "Happy, cheerful" song melody suggests. This is what I love about Vocaloid compositions. See if you agree.

Also, I was only able to find a couple of reliable English translations to this more unusual Miku performance. So, in the interest of adding to the Vocaloid community, here's my subtitled version of the melody!
