King George VI | The Crown

George VI was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth from 11 December 1936 until his death in 1952. He was the Father of the current monarch, Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. He ascended the throne upon the abdication of his brother, Edward VIII (The Duke of Windsor).
