Forests worldwide are under threat from disturbances such as climate change and human impacts, which are increasing at an accelerated rate. BU's Dr Elena Cantarello is part of a European research project exploring how forests can be more resilient to these changes. Her work has focused on the New Forest and has found that parts of the woodland are at risk of collapse.
