Washing Machine Not Heating Hotpoint Indesit Ariston & Whirlpool

Full Tutorial and links https://www.how-to-repair.com/help/wa... Repairing a washing machine that is not heating is not a hard job, you may have an error code f3, f7, or f8 these are all heater related
If your washing machine is not eating there are basically 5 things to check.
1 Check for any damaged wires coming from the printed circuit board to the heating element.
2 Do a continuity and ohms test on the element to make sure the element is in good condition.
3 Test the NTC sensor to make sure it is within 5% of the designed ohms reading at the set temperature that the manufacturer shows on their date sheet.
4 Sometimes the pressure switch may be showing incorrect water level and this can also stop the heater from coming on.
5 On the printed circuit board there is a relay that controls the heater element these can become faulty.
