FRONT DOOR || Complete Magnus Archives MAP

Описание к видео FRONT DOOR || Complete Magnus Archives MAP

“I am not a ‘who,’ Archivist, I am a ‘Multi-Michael Animator Project.’ A ‘consistent character design’ requires a degree of identity I can’t ever retain.”

Here it is, the full version of the Multi-Michael Animator Project || Front Door! When I started this project, I had no idea how much support and excitement would be generated around it. The amount of talented people that helped to create this MAP still floors me. Everyone’s part is so unique and creative, and I am so proud of each and every single one of you.

This MAP is a love letter to the creativity of this fanbase; how the designs of characters like Michael and Helen Distortion are so varied and different but still recognizable as the characters they represent. All animators and cosplayers used their own designs for The Distortion. In the spirit of these varying designs, the designs for Jon, Martin, Tim, and Sasha are designed by different participants and voted on by every participant. The video itself premieres on April 1st, the date Michael makes its first appearance in "A Distortion."

Here's a list of all the participants. Links to their accounts will be in the pinned comment- give them lots of love!

Honourable Mentions to Akidachi and Fractalize, who unfortunately had to drop out of the map. Luckily we were able to keep using their Jon design throughout the animation, so their touch is still there! Fractalize also incorporated the door transition between Solitomatonic’s part and Pi3shark’s part. Thank you both for joining and helping as much as you have done!

I take no credit for the song, this was made for entertainment purposes only. It is completely nonprofit, and I actually lost money making this video if you consider the musician I commissioned for the end credit sequence.
“I’m Best Friends with my Own Front Door” is by Bill Wurtz, and the credits cover is by Katie Corrin. This video is inspired by The Magnus Archives, a horror podcast distributed by Rusty Quill.
