Elysium Exoskeleton costume all-metal build

This is a replica of the exoskeleton costume from the movie Elysium (2013), built for realistic cosplay with mechanical parts created by CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and investment casting in a home-made foundry.

The suit is a near-copy of the one used in the movie, which means that it can never "work", since it was built from ground-up only to look cool. The parts are not physically attached to each other in a way that could be used to lift or push anything.
