Due to the abundant number of elastic fibers in the horse’s hide, the elastic fibers contract and then relax by facilitating the movement of lymph.

The purpose of the grooming technique is to provide a systematic protocol utilizing the equine lymphatic structure to promote well- being, encourage lymphatic flow and to remove dirt and grim.
