It is an honor for me to be among the 7 women in Serbia who, through their dedication, have contributed to the development of family care and the preservation of family values and have been chosen for the Milunka Savić award.

Listen carefully to each story. For me, the award ceremony day was deeply emotional. I was surrounded by such powerful stories, by such extraordinary women.

Among the recipients is Nada Milić from Kraljevo, who lost her twin sons during the 1999 war. Shortly after their passing, her third son died of grief. She transformed her family home into a memorial house for her fallen sons.

Another recipient, Tatjana Obradović from Čačak, is a mother of three and a grandmother of four. Her home also provides love and care for Nađa, a butterfly child, who thrives thanks to Tatjana's devotion.

Ognjenka Rašić from Kovin, another honoree, is an 11-year-old girl caring for her mother under difficult social conditions. In addition to maintaining their household and raising livestock, she also cooks, sews, and excels in school.

Jelena Krnić from Sečanj received recognition for her incredible journey as a mother. She naturally gave birth to a son, then twins, and later triplets, whom she raises with her husband, Miloš.

Dragana Bojović Jović from Belgrade, a gynecology and obstetrics specialist at the "Narodni Front" maternity clinic, was also honored. She is part of the clinic's IVF department, where over 2,000 babies have been born. Despite undergoing six unsuccessful IVF attempts herself, she has dedicated her life to helping women in their journey to parenthood.

Dragana Grubić from Stara Pazova was also recognized. Born with cystic fibrosis, she defied doctors' warnings about the risks of pregnancy to her health and life. This year, she gave birth to a healthy baby.

Among these women, I found my own story. I am from Novi Sad, born without upper limbs, but despite this, I have become a painter and a successful athlete, as well as a family-oriented person—a wife and, since two years ago, a mother.
