This is my Game Boy Advance SP modified with a BoxyPixel unhinged budget aluminum shell where I retained the plastic rear shell, and I also installed the Division 6 GBAccelerator.

I was originally going to use an AGS-001 motherboard with a voltage regulator installed and use an AGS-101 LCD, but when I tested the AGS-101 LCD out after modification to the AGS-001 motherboard such as cutting the trace near the LCD connector and the voltage regulator installed with wires, I didn’t see the AGS-101 LCD have light appearing on there. So, I instead used an AGS-101 motherboard that I bought off of eBay where it had a broken volume slider on there, and I replaced it with a better volume slider on it and the volume control works fine like it should! When doing this unhinged budget SP mod, I decided to go with the black and silver look, which I used a black shell and silver buttons! The glossy black rear shell is actually a red back shell that I spray painted in black to avoid wasting shell parts!

The GBAccelerator mod at the fastest speed runs well only on genuine Nintendo game cartridges, however I interestingly noticed that when running Super Mario Bros. (NES) on a flash cartridge, it actually went well at the fastest speed. This mod can be useful for speeding up long RPG games especially when it gets boring and you want to go faster for those games!
