Character Customization Binds for City of Heroes

Hey all! I have wanted to do this video for YEARS and I finally got around to it. It explains my quick-bind system for rapid setting any new character to a set of common binds, custom binds, and other customizations. The idea is that every character has the SAME UI organization, but different colors for windows and chat to make every character distinct when you play them.

They have the SAME bind keys, but say and do character-specific things when you press those keys.

I also include explanation of some of the coolest binds and macros I’ve collected over the years so look for that too! I tried my best to keep it interesting and use a lot of in-game demos for everything so I hope you like it!

IMPORTANT! I forgot to mention in the video that the farm macros need to be in POWER TRAY 6, slots 1 through 5. See my video for examples, but the farm_numbers file expects them to be in that place.

Download it and put it in your c:\ location (or use a symbolic link if you want to be fancy). The final path should look like “c:\binds\[the rest of the files]”
