Before being officially announced as the new head football coach at TCU, former SMU head coach Sonny Dykes and his family landed in Amon G. Carter Stadium to a welcoming crowd of Horned Frogs fans in Fort Worth.

By taking over his former cross-region rival's program, Dykes fills the void left by the departure of longtime TCU coach Gary Patterson back in October amid a disappointing season. The team finished with a 5-7 record this year.
