Saurashtra cricket Association stadium is also known as a khandheri stadium in rajkot. It is inaugurated by honorable prime Minister shri narendra modi (at that time cheif Minister of gujarat ) on 6 January 2013. The atrium of the stadium is uniquely and beautifully designed. To give respect and recognition to each player who played from Saurashtra or from Saurashtra, their names have been highlighted in this atrium.

Currently Mr. Jaydev Shah is the president of saurashtra cricket association and Mr. Himanshu Shah is the secretary of saurashtra cricket association. The stadium has seating capacity of 25000 seats.
