🌿ABOUT THIS PROJECT
In Senegal, many communities depend on savannas – that is, transition zones between deserts and forests – to feed their families and livestock. But climate change and industrial agriculture are slowly turning these important landscapes into deserts themselves. To ensure these vital ecosystems remain livable, we, along with our partner Hommes et Terre, are tackling the challenge of restoring one of the toughest environments imaginable. Join us in this journey through Bakel in eastern Senegal, where we meet the people directly impacted and find out how we’re bringing these essential ecosystems back to life.
