‘The point [of Project 2025] is to erase the idea that trans people are real’

Project 2025 aims to define anything related to sex, gender, or sexuality, as pornography. Its goal is to paint the very idea of people who are not straight and cis-gender as obscene, dangerous, and ultimately illegal. “The whole point is to erase the idea that trans people are real,” says Imara Jones, CEO of TransLash Media. “It's not going to stop there. I don't know an authoritarian regime that has targeted one group of people that stopped.”
