Spending a good portion of my life playing fighting games has given me an appreciation for the lore. You tend to absorb it through osmosis. I can accept a certain level of "dumb" in stories, but sometimes it just becomes unacceptable when the writing choices are bafflingly inconsistent.

This is one of those cases...And it has bothered me for years. I finally spent the time to sit down and articulate my grievances, and believe me there's more where that came from....So let me know if this stuff is interesting to you, cause I could talk about this stuff all day!
